A Brief History of Victorinox
Victorinox Swiss Army was founded in 1884 by Karl Elsener in Ibach, Switzerland. Initially a cutlery workshop, it soon gained fame for its high-quality knives. In 1891, Elsener began supplying the Swiss Army with the now-iconic Soldier’s Knife. The breakthrough came in 1897 with the Swiss Officer’s and Sports Knife, known today as the Swiss Army Knife, celebrated for its multifunctional design.
Victorinox expanded its product range over the years, adding household and professional knives, watches, travel gear, and fragrances. In 2005, Victorinox acquired Wenger, its main competitor, unifying the Swiss Army Knife brand. Today, Victorinox Swiss Army is synonymous with durability, quality, and innovation, maintaining its reputation as a global leader in multi-functional tools and accessories.

Our Sears had left town, so I called MyJewelryRepair directly to find out what to do. The lady sent me an email and told me how to send our ring. Her email included not only the link to the service site, but also detailed instructions about how to fill out the online form. It was very easy to follow her instructions on the site. Once I filled out the online form and printed the shipping label, I received a confirmation email. I also received email communications when my ring arrived, a couple of days later telling me it was being evaluated, a couple of days later telling me what work was being done, and a couple of days later when the work was completed (including before and after pictures)! Wow! It was as good as taking it to a local jeweler where I could check on it in person. And the work was quality–the ring looks great.”

After accepting the repair, I had issues with my credit card going through on the website…we went back and forth with them bank and customer service team (for days) but when I was starting to feel hopeless about getting it resolved (and playing phone tag) I was informed my ring had already been shipped out free of charge, resized, and with a stone reset!
