A Wedding Set Ring Repair
On this edition of the Before & After series, we have a 10k White Gold 2-Piece Diamond Wedding Ring set that had the center stone fall out.
Fortunately, the owner of the ring still had the diamond and the head still in their possession, so it was a simple repair to complete without having to source out a new diamond.
The scratches were normal as it was from daily wear and tear, however, it is important to service your sentimental rings routinely to check the stones and to keep your piece in pristine condition.
For this ring repair, we had to:
- Carefully solder the head
- Reapply the metal stamp
- Inspect all of the other stones to make sure everything was properly secure
