Professionally Restringing This Pearl Necklace
Welcome back to another Before & After blog spotlight! One of our authorized partners, Macy’s, sent this strand of pearls to us to get exactly 5 pearl gemstones removed from necklace itself. What may sound like a simple process actually turns into having the entire strand being redone!
The Details of This Pearl Necklace Repair
For this necklace repair, we had to:
- Perform our standard and free professional evaluation by our expert technicians after noting the repair requests of the customer
- As you may have already known, although we are an online jewelry and watch repair company, we only provide evaluations when our skilled craftsmen can physically assess the items in person at our secure facility
- Cut each individual pearl gemstone out of the knotted string
- Set aside exactly 5 pearls
- Professionally restring all the remaining pearl gemstones
- Attach French wire to strengthen the ends of the strands
- Reattach the pearl clasp
And voilà! This pearl necklace was successfully shorter in length as requested.
